As you progress through your studies, it's important to stay up to date with news and developments in your field of study, and social media can be a great way to stay tuned in to updates, new publi...cations and major events. Social media can also be a great way to connect and interact with fellow students, and some sites like LinkedIn could help you to search for job opportunities and network with other professionals. In this session Helen Clough will discuss the term 'digital presence' and outline some of the benefits and drawbacks of different social media platforms. This session is also used in Fresher's Fair 2016 Day 2 & Open University Business and Law schools induction 2017.
