Progressive manifesto/Labour leadership * Political: How is this changing the ‘rights’ of individuals? What does this imply for the role of the state and citizen in post-crisis world? * Legal: The affect of BREXIT and reopening the Human Rights Act debate. Corporate ‘responsibility’ and ‘consciousness’ * Political: Why, for whom and for what should corporations should be socially responsible? What are the limits of this responsibility? What are alternative political systems for assigning ‘responsibility’ and would they be more effective than ‘corporations with a conscience’? * Legal: legal cases giving rise to the exercise of a religious conscience on the part of business: same sex couples and a double bed/bakers refusing to ice a cake/a company refusing to provide health insurance which provides advice on abortion.
