Description
The session will start with a brief introduction to the Open University Law Society. The Society is run by both past and present students of The Open University. Key facts about the OU Law Societ...y will be covered, including how it was incorporated on 5 September 2010, how it is entirely student run and a place for students with similar interests to come together. Some idea of the activities that the Society undertakes will also be given, as will an idea of its other points of contact, including its newsletter, its website (www.ouls.org), and the socials it organises, including paintballing. The session will also give an introduction to Mooting. This session is also used in Pro Bono Law Special - May 2017.
