Charlotte Webb is a lecturer in Mathematics Education. She is passionate about her subject, and spent some years teaching mathematics in secondary schools, before joining the Open University in 201...6. As a Maths Education lecturer, she teaches students who would like to become teachers, or who are already teachers. She has done a lot of outreach work, helping at events such as the Big Bang Fair, and she gives masterclasses to primary and secondary children (through the Royal Institution) on topics such as Art and Maths: Escher’s tessellations, Code breaking and Maths in Nature: Fibonacci and the Golden Ratio. She love animals, particularly her dachshund puppy Ronnie, and she is a keen traveller, having spent time in Australia, NZ, USA, Japan and Thailand, to name just a few, as well as living in Madrid for two years
