In this first session of the day, Francine Ryan and Hugh McFaul present an introduction into what is meant by ‘pro bono’. They’ll discuss The Open University Law School’s exciting new Open ...Justice project and examine the reasons why the OU is making such a commitment to pro bono legal work. They’ll also talk about the projects Open Justice will deliver, which include an online law clinic and public legal education activities in schools and prisons, and how these projects will contribute to a law degree.
