Mark Fenton-O'Creevy, Professor of Organisational Behaviour, provides an introduction to the history of globalisation. He also talks about the impact of communication technologies and the immediacy... of communication and data sharing. The social impact of globalisation: it made significant increases in global wealth and in many cases narrowed the gap between richer and poorer countries, which is a good thing. But, there's a dark side: we've seen a significant increase in inequality between individuals and globalisation has also had a negative impact on the environment.
