Everyone seems to belong somewhere. Or so it seems when people ask ‘where are you from?’ as often as they ask ‘what do you do?’ What you do, where you work, study or relax can contribute to... a kind of belonging. In an era of migration, refugee crises, nationalisms and globalisation, ‘belonging’, in one sense or another, is a key theme in the media, social media, academic research and everyday conversations. Within this SHL conversation we will discuss three approaches; belonging, inequality and technology.
