Description
Inequality has many dimensions, and is approached in a variety of ways in different fields of research. Lecturer in Philosophy Dr Sean Cordell has been working on the ethics and politics of social ...roles, including familial and professional roles, and the legitimacy and justice of institutions that define them, with his latest publication (with Jon Pike) on Lance Armstrong, cheating and unfair advantages. Lecturer in Social Policy and Criminology Victoria Cooper focusses on homelessness and how society contains and manages homeless groups, currently looking at the rise in evictions, homelessness and austerity. She has written on the failure of criminal justice to protect women, and her latest publication is on 'Grenfell, Austerity and Institutional Violence'. Lecturer in Art history Dr Warren Carter’s area of research is the social history of art, particularly American art, currently specifically focussing on mural painting, from the Mexican Revolution, particularly the period 1910-20, through to contemporary street art.
