We will be introducing the new level 2 English Literature module A233 Telling stories: the novel and beyond. We’ve designed A233 to be an enjoyable way of finding out about key techniques and dev...ices used by writers. It will include an exciting range of set texts: from Shakespeare to Ali Smith, from Hardy’s Wessex to Arundhati Roy’s India, there’ll be something for everyone! The module covers both realist and fantastic fiction, so one of the things we’ll be discussing is the difference between these two types of writing. We’ll also be keen to hear from you about what most interests you about the fiction that you read.
