Description
From the School of Psychology and Counselling, an event to introduce you to these subjects, and discuss how to start your studies in these disciplines well, and some tips for those first few weeks.... There will be opportunities to hear from members of the Psychology and Counselling central academic team, information on some of the ways you can hear about School news and events, and a chance to explore the types of student support you can access during your studies. And, to get you off to a good start, we’ll say something about different types of assessment you might come across as part of your studies and how they are designed to help build key skills in the areas of psychology and counselling. We’ll also tell you about the support and advice you will have for completing assessments. You’ll get lots of guidance as you go through your studies so you won’t be left on your own to puzzle it out.
