This lighthearted and informal presentation aims to explore how distance-learning students can benefit from the online student communities that exist on social media platforms. The presentation in ...itself is nearly entirely constructed by communicating with OU students who use Facebook, the result of this will bring to viewers an opportunity to meet both new OU fledglings and graduate wise owls who were all willing to be a part of that supportive community and share their stories at this conference to help other OU students with their studies.
