Community care: This band looks at a Barnardos scheme for helping parents of disabled children, an Asian club for the elderley and a resource centre which is giving day care for those with a histo...ry of mental illness. -- Finding a voice: This band looks at Halifax where Calderdale people First (a self advocacy group of the disabled) are opposing plans to build a residential home outside the town. -- Quality of care: this band examines the type of residential care given to the elderly, both in a state and a private home, asking how the residents are involved in assessing and asking for the type of care they receive.
