Announcing a new and improved Library Search

The OU Library is always working on ways to make your studies as smooth and enjoyable as possible. That’s why we’ve been working hard behind the scenes setting up a new and improved version of Library Search. 

In February 2022 we are launching an update on the system that runs Library Search.  

With this new system, any update from the Library, or from the publishers who provide the content, will be available to you in real-time. So, any search you make will give you the most up-to-date results, every time. We will also have a new custom URL, so every link from Library Search will be more user-friendly. 

The display won’t change, so the system will look the same, but behind the scenes it will be able to support your research much more efficiently.  

This new system will launch in February. In the meantime, you can look forward to your new and improved search experience to come!
