Exploring Generative AI online training session – 19 February

Side profile of male in a computer environment looking at a large video screenIn Autumn last year, Library Services added a new session to their programme of online training sessions - exploring Generative AI: critical skills and ethical use – that explores Generative AI tools, such as ChatGPT, and offers guidance on ensuring that the use of such tools is appropriate, ethical and transparent, and aligns with OU guidance. This session will next be held on Monday 19 February at 19:30 and Wednesday 28 February at 12:30, and will feature regularly within the Library’s programme of live online training sessions available to students and staff.

You do not need to book a place to attend – simply visit the exploring Generative AI training session page a couple of minutes before the start time and select 'Join Room'. This will take you through to Adobe Connect ready for the session to begin.

Here’s what an attendee of the first session back in November 2023 had to say:

It's really good - evolving tech but so helpful to advise students what's relevant now."

An interactive recording of the session is available to watch anytime via the ‘View previous recordings’ link on the exploring Generative AI training session page.
