Explore new Black History Library resources

We've added a wealth of new book titles to our Black History resource list, covering topics related to the theme of this year’s Black History Month – Celebrating Our Sisters.

The new collection contains title suggestions deriving from the University’s steering group for Black History Month, the BAME staff network, Library Services, and wider academic staff. Some of the new titles include:

• "I Will Not Be Erased": Our stories about growing up as people of colour by gal-dem
• More than a Glitch: Confronting Race, Gender, and Ability Bias in Tech by Meredith Broussard
• Traveling Black: A Story of Race and Resistance by Mia Bay
• The Motherland Calls: Britain's Black Servicemen & Women 1939-45 by Stephen Bourne
• Don’t Touch My Hair by Emma Dabiri
• Brit(ish): On Race, Identity and Belonging by Afua Hirsch
