The importance of being digital - live broadcast

On Friday 27 June we will be running a live question and answer session that will be broadcast online, about the skills and approaches that can help you use digital and online tools and technologies during your studies, at work or in your personal life.

This is very much a pilot session and will be open to everyone, whether you are studying with The Open University or not. We hope that you’ll be able to join us at the session to help us try out this new approach but if not (or if you just want to get a head start!) why not ask us a question by emailing Library-Services and we’ll do our best to answer these during the live broadcast and here on the library website.

To help you start thinking here are some recent examples received by the helpdesk:

  • I’ve found an article on Google that I’d like to read but I can’t access it?
  • I’ve used information from a Tweet in my assignment and I’m not sure how to reference it?
  • How can I protect my online identity?

We’ll be releasing more information about this live online event soon.
