The Open University

The OU team working on the project links staff working in the School of Engineering and Innovation (Leslie Mabon, Alice Moncaster, Meng-Chin Tsai) and the Faculty of Wellbeing, Education and Language Studies (Jitka Vseteckova, Verina Waights).


Sniffer

Three triangles organised in a circle, one is purple, one is yellow, one is blue.Sniffer are a sustainability charity, who through Climate Ready Clyde have developed the climate change adaptation plan for Glasgow City Region. Climate Ready Clyde (CRC) is a cross-sector initiative funded by fifteen member organisations and supported by the Scottish Government to create and deliver a shared vision, strategy and action plan for an adapting Glasgow City Region. Sniffer provides the technical secretariat for Climate Ready Clyde. Sniffer staff will work alongside the team from the OU to develop and implement the community workshops in Glasgow within the project, as well as supporting with stakeholder engagement across the project span.


Taipei GR Lab

The Taipei Green Resilience Lab in the MDR3 Programme at National Taiwan University is represented in the project via Wan-Yu Shih, who is their Director and PI. The Taipei GI Lab have extensive experience of community research into climate change and natural hazards in Taiwan, and have an ongoing programme of research into urban green spaces and hot weather in the city which the project will build on.
