Job seekers and young people in communities across Scotland can access free training to support work skills and career prospects through an online portal. The Skills for Work portal offers workplace skills including employability, leadership, communication and digital skills.

Community Councils 

Community councillors in Scotland can access a unique portal of free online OU courses. The bespoke Skills Support for Community Councils portal includes collections on digital skills, business skills, finance and fundraising, and community and society.

Open Learning Champions

Open Learning Champions bring the Open University’s free online open educational resources to communities across Scotland. The project equips a wide network of people – from third sector organisations to colleges and libraries – with the knowledge and skills to use the OU’s free learning resources to help learners in their communities.
