During what has been a difficult year with Covid 19, taking time to reflect on practice by adopting good wellbeing habits play a significant part in one’s own wellbeing and that of colleagues and school pupils.

Adults and young children pictured outside, with a parachuteA ‘Reflecting on Wellbeing Activities’ two-day course from The Open University enabled wellbeing champions to focus on what they had supported over the past year, and plan for the future.

Developed with the Educational Institute of Scotland, and for attendees from across Scotland, participants used an Appreciative Inquiry approach.

This is a useful tool when setting out ideal next steps, looking at ‘what’s working’, and ‘what can be improved upon’.
