Innovation Systems for a Low-Carbon Economy: The Role for Intermediaries and New Innovation Actors

Thu, 10 September 2015, 09:30 to 18:00

The Open University, 1-11 Hawley Crescent, Camden Town, London NW1 8NP

It is now widely acknowledged that the transition to a low-carbon economy is unlikely to occur unless radical changes take place in policy and technology, together with substantial shifts in energy systems, organisational structures and corporate strategy.

This ESRC workshop, a collaboration between the OU and The University of Southampton, will adopt a multi-dimensional and multidisciplinary perspective to examine how best to support this. A particular focus will be the development and diffusion of low-carbon innovation.

The event is free but you must register via Eventbrite.

Directions to The Open University in London.
