Through images and conversation, these sessions will stir memories of the history of your community and help you to consider how this shaped your identity. Share your stories, listen to others and discover new stories. You may wish to bring some of these memories to life in the art, music or creative writing workshops, or in other ways.

An opportunity to reflect on local heritage and bring stories, memories and things that matter to you about where you live to life.

BG REACH: Blaenau Gwent Residents Engaging in Arts, Community and Heritage - an opportunity to celebrate the rich history, culture and beauty of Blaenau Gwent.

This is a collaboration between Aberbeeg Community Group with Linc Cymru Housing Association and The Open University in Wales.

Through February and March there will be workshops taking place at Aberbeeg Community Centre which are free to take part. You can attend as few or as many workshops as you want to and there will be someone to guide you along the way.

Anyone aged 16 and above can take part in the workshops.

You can expect to meet people, have fun, share ideas and memories and hopefully learn a thing or two along the way.
