In clip 14 Dr. Holmes explains how the frequency in a population of a mutant gene with selective advantage is likely to increase in successive populations. Excerpts from a film made by Dr. Kettlewell and Professor Tinbergen about two varieties of peppered moth is used to demonstrate this effect.
