Description
Drinkwater Meadows was an English actor who was also secretary of the Covent Garden Theatrical Fund, set up in 1765 to support aged and infirm actors of the Theatre Royal Covent Garden and their families. Meadows, who performed on stage in London in lesser roles for over thirty years, was much respected but not considered a particularly inspirational actor.
