Description
Tom Roberts is from County Armagh. He gained O Levels at school and then studied for an ONC (an Ordinary National Certificate a Further Education qualification equivalent to A Levels) in Telephony and Telegraphy. He was imprisoned in the H Blocks (the Maze and Long Kesh Prison) and Maghaberry Prison from 1980 to 1993. Tom studied Mathematics with The Open University 1985 to 1993. Tom graduated with a first class honours degree in 1993. At the time of interview in 2011 he was the Director of EPIC (Ex-Prisoners Interpretative Centre working with ex-prisoners from an Ulster Volunteer Force (UVF) or Red Hand Commando (RHC) Background).
