Description
Rita Browne worked in an administrative role for The Open University from 1973-1977 and from 1986 until the early 1990s. In her role she worked on the prison scheme and was responsible for arranging security clearances and liaising with tutors and the prison education departments about timetables for tutorial visits for students in prison. Rita then became the Information Technology Co-Ordinator for The Open University in the National Office in Belfast and was in this role at time of interview in 2013.
