Description
Garnet Busby attended the Royal School Dungannon and Dungannon Technical College where he gained five O Levels. He was imprisoned in 1980 and studied with The Open University in the Maze (The H Blocks of the Maze and Long Kesh Prison) and Maghaberry Prison from 1985-1992. He graduated with an honours degree in Psychology in 1992 and also when in Maghaberry started research for a PhD with Queen’s University on ‘The Impact of Exercise on Anger Management in the Prison Population’. He continued his studies at Queen’s University after his release in 1997 and graduated with his PhD in 1999. At the time of interview in 2011 Garnet was a... Community Worker in Sandy Row Belfast.
