Description
Rosemary Hamilton has a degree in Chemistry and a PhD in Agricultural Chemistry from Queen’s University Belfast. She was Staff Tutor in Science and Technology for The Open University until 1992 and tutored Chemistry and History of Science modules from 1971 to 1983. Rosemary tutored Science Foundation Courses in Crumlin Road Gaol and the H Blocks of the Maze and Long Kesh Prison between 1976 and 1982. Rosemary was Regional Director of The Open University in Ireland from 1992-2010 and conducted graduation ceremonies in prisons during that period.
