Student F is from Belfast and attended St Malachy’s College where he gained O and A Levels. He was imprisoned in Portlaoise Prison County Laois in Ireland where he studied courses in French. He was then imprisoned in England and joined a French class while in Full Sutton Prison. After his repatriation to Portlaoise Prison in 1998 he studied for an Open University Diploma in French which he completed in 2000 after his release. He then gained a certificate in Training and Continuing Education from the National University of Ireland Maynooth County Kildare.
