Description
Sheelagh Wilson was a part-time teacher of Basic Education in the H Blocks of the Maze and Long Kesh Prison from 1980. In 1991 she was appointed as a full-time teacher of Basic Education in Crumlin Road Gaol and then the Young Offender’s Centre Hydebank Wood. Sheelagh later moved to teach in Maghaberry Prison where she had responsibility for Open University students until her retirement in 2010.
