Description
Martin Collins worked as an Open University Associate Lecturer in Science in the Compounds and H Blocks of the Maze and Long Kesh Prison in 1978 1983 and 1988. He had studied Life Sciences specializing in Microbiology at the University of Liverpool and worked in the pharmaceutical industry before studying for his PhD in Edinburgh. He came to Northern Ireland in 1978 to take up a lectureship at the Queen’s University of Belfast.
