This programme develops further the analysis of the interpenetration of social and educational problems, discussed in the last radio programme. The contributors consider the characteristics of &quo...t;deprived" areas, the concept of "priority" treatment, and the mobilisation of community resources towards a concept of education which is broader than the academic work which goes on in classrooms.
