Description
The Schools Council Humanities Curriculum Project has penetrated more schools than any other attempt at curriculum innovation. What sort of impact does the Project have? This programme aims to show... the Project in action by presenting a sequence from a "session" in a London secondary school. The pupils are discussing the role of punishment within the family, and are not being "taught" in any conventional sense - for it is part of the theory of the Humanities Project that the teacher should adopt the role of a strictly neutral chairman.
