Description
In the Thirties, the Russian system of Educational psychology worked very much like our own. But in 1936 the system came under an increasing amount of criticism and eventually it was completely cha...nged by decree of the Communist Party Cultural Committee. The new system which operates still is radically different from our own. Interestingly the reasons given for the catastrophic change at the time sound disturbingly like contemporary criticism of Western educational psychology. This programme examines the significance of the Russian experience to our own.
