On Band 2 Catherine King Lecturer in Art History at the Open University looks at secular art with particualr reference to women artists. On Band 3 Tim Benton lecturer in Architectural History at Open University looks at 15th Century maps and discusses how these might help us understand cities and their trade. On band 4 Tim Benton looks at Renaissance architechture; At it's origins and developments and gives students a practical guide in reading and understanding buildings of this period.
