This programme deals with three numerical methods of solving a first order differential equation, the Euler method, the trapezoidal method and Simpson's rule. Each method leads to a recurrence rela...tion which approximates the differential equation, thus providing a table of approximate values of the true solution. Comparisons of the three methods are made under the criteria of accuracy, economy and stability.
