Description
This programme is about the philosophical problem of what lies beyond, and causes our sense-experiences. It also considers the problem of what our attitude to the external world should be, even if ...we can't prove that it actually exists. The programme is presented in dramatised form as an argument between a philosopher (Janet Richards) and a miniaturised demon, Descartes' Evil Genius (Richard Derrington). It is great fun to watch. The detail of their argument is summarised in the Broadcast Notes.
