Description
This programme is the first of two shot during the Medieval Players' 1988-89 tour of Dr Faustus, this contains the early scenes from the first part of the play. Emphasis is on the play as theatre, ...a text designed for actors and audiences. We see Faustus' temptation, his conjuring and encounter with Mephostophiles as well as the comic parallel scene with Wagner and the clown.
