This programme is a simulation of the selection process for a lecturer in Liberal Studies at a fictitious College of FE. It was set up in collaboration with Sutton Coldfield College of FE, who prov...ided the 5 member interview panel; the two candidates, potentially actual candidates for such a post, were chosen by the academic consultant from two other colleges of FE. Their first meeting with the panel was in front of the cameras. The programme shows their abbreviated interviews, and the panel discussion resulting in an appointment.
