The mythical Northfordshire Polytechnic has a problem. They have received a letter urgently requesting money to aid a former colleague now imprisoned in Periquana, Central America. Some academics f...eel poly funds cannot be used in this way: the poly director is sympathetic but cannot allow the Poly to support such a a cause: many feel the poly has a duty to help a former colleague. It falls to the Department of Business Studies, where the imprisoned man used to work, to take a decision, and what aspects of the issue form the key factors in the decision making process, are the subjects of this role-playing exercise for television.
