This programme includes a film sequence from Milton School, Cambridge where 7 year old children are exploring the properties of flight using paper gliders; a film sequence from the Launchpad exhibi...tion developed at the Science Museum in London where 9-10 year old children try out exhibits ranging from a spark machine (Van Der Graaf generator) to an arch bridge they can walk over. Finally, Dr. Wilson, the leader of the Launchpad team demonstrates some of the exhibits to Judith Hann in the studio elaborating on some of the more complex sciences involved.
