In this programme Heather Couper talks about the night sky in general and the new pop up book she has brought out on Halley's Comet. the programme then visits Trafalgar School, Twickenham where Kat...hy Allen's class are tackling the scientific and technological problems that faced the engineers who built the Thames Flood Barrier. the film insert includes comments from children about science, some drama work that developed from their visit, experiments being conducted by groups of children and scientific explanations given straight to camera by pairs of children.
