Footage description: | This programme is a dramatization of the events in the day of a busy garage manager. He is shown to be unable to control the pressures placed upon him at work and consequently at home. The narrator offers him advice on how to overcome these pressures and how to assert himself. First of all he discusses his problems at work with his wife. Together they come up with a solution to solve the immediate crisis. He then thinks over how he can improve his working conditions. Back at work the manager is shown to be getting on top of his problems, he resolves his difficulty with his boss and eases his own work load by getting his foreman to accept more responsibility. |
