Description
This programme takes the form of a geology field trip to observe the different types of Upper Jurassic shelf sediments exposed in the cliffs along the Dorset coast. The main sequences examined are:... the Corallian Beds which form a shallowing upwards sequence composed of the Trigonia-Hudlestoni, Nothe Clay and bencliff Beds; the Kimmeridge Clay.
