A new prototype device to enable dogs to sniff for cancer in humans, has been developed by an OU researcher. Dr Clara Mancini, who heads up the OU's Animal-Computer Interaction centre, also develo...ped two other devices which allow dogs to operate light switches and open doors, both tools which will improve the lives of people with disabilities who have trained canine companions.
