Description
Andrea Berardi discusses why is it fundamental for academics to ‘break out of their ivory towers’ and engage with communities ‘at the coal face’ of environmental issues. A lot of what is un...dertaken in research cannot be applied in ‘the real world’ unless its codesigned with those in communities to make sure it works. The OU can play a role in addressing sustainability in terms of scalability. The OU is well positioned to engage people in all walks of life and draw on those individuals.
