Trying to balance your OU studies with family, work and social commitments can be tricky during this busy season. Many students see it as an opportunity to catch up with their studies and complete ...their TMAs ready for the January deadline. But what happens when life gets in the way? This practical session will help you to plan your time during the holiday season, set yourself achievable and realistic goals, and stay motivated. It will include tips and tricks for managing expectations – both yours and others’ – as well as reminding you of the importance of enjoying your studies and looking after yourself. The presenter of this session, Stefanie Sinclair, is the chair of AA100 and has 16 years of experience as a tutor, so she will have plenty of good advice to share. However, we also want to hear from you! What are your top tips for managing time and balancing different commitments over Christmas? What is the one piece of advice you would give to other students?
