In this session Karen is joined by Rob Humphreys, Director of The Open University in Wales, and Darren Jones, GO-Wales Employability coordinator. They will be discussing a number of exciting projec...ts and schemes available to our students in Wales. These include the GO-Wales Achieve through Work Experience programme, a country-wide scheme that helps eligible students to gain valuable work experience and develop their employability skills, and Pre-entry Careers Advice, a new enhanced careers support guidance service offering one-to-one support for all new students in Wales. Darren will also discuss the Youth Enterprise and Entrepreneurship project, a scheme offering OU students aged between 18 and 30 the opportunity to receive support and guidance on how to develop their ideas into the next generation of start-up businesses.
