In this session, Level 1 module chairs and tutors Georgina Blakeley and Matt Staples will be talking to Karen Foley about how students can best prepare for their EMAs (End of Module Assignments). O...ver the course of the session they’ll explore the role of EMAs in Open University modules and offer some practical advice on how to tackle them, as well as discussing how to understand EMA questions and how to plan, structure and write a good EMA answer. They’ll also take a look at good practice and the things you should try to avoid doing as you prepare for and write your EMA. Finally, at the end of the session, they’ll provide advice for any students with questions about their essay planning and writing.
