In this session, Nicky and Karen will take a look at some of the fundamental tasks needed to construct a good essay. The session will take the form of an ‘essay picnic party’, with various food... items representing different facets of essay writing, structured – as an essay is – with an introduction, main paragraphs and conclusion. There will even be a menu, which will take the form of a quiz. They’ll also take a look at the differences between writing essays for assignments and for exams.
