The session will give you a brief introduction to how we teach languages at The Open University, focusing in particular on how we teach Chinese. You'll learn about the coming Chinese New Year – Y...ear of the Monkey, the cultural significance of the zodiac symbols, how to say "Happy Chinese New Year" and some other useful expressions and discuss the cultural connotations behind them.
